Shielding

At times, during the coating process, according to customer requirements, we need to shield certain areas of the part to prevent coating of features such as threads and holes, in which coating could reduce dimensions. We thus protect the precise dimension of the product, as well as products that require shielding to obtain two and sometimes three different coatings. This process is carried out according to specifications provided by the customer.

The screening process is customized to each component and requires great precision. We paste the areas that do not need coating with special shielding material that prevents coating in the bath. After the coating process, the shielding material is removed from the parts.

There are parts that we shield with lacquer, as well as special plastic shielding materials for this purpose.
