Sand spraying

We perform spraying of fine aluminum oxide and other media by request. Compressed air is used to spray the sand-like material on the metal parts within a dedicated chamber.

The process polishes the part and gives it a rough matt finish. Various degrees of polishing may be achieved by halting the process and checking the part at any stage.

The sandblasting chamber includes durable gloves with which the part is held, and a gun used to spray the part with abrasive material from all directions. The sealed chamber has a glass pane through which the process is observed and controlled. The abrasive material wears the part with great force. Parts that have undergone sandblasting will not reflect light.
