Aluminum anodizing

Benefits:

  1. Surface hardness

  2. Resistance to rust, wear and corrosion

  3. Decorative effect

  4. Electrical insulation

Agamim Coating, Ltd. specializes in coating of aluminum parts, according to customer specifications: natural anodizing, chrome anodizing, hard anodizing, in the following colors: black, purple, blue, red, gold and green, according to MIL-A-8625 standard.

Anodizing for aluminum alloys may be performed on parts of up to length = 2,000 mm, width = 1,000 mm, depth = 1,000 mm. Weight ≤ 500 kg. The anodizing process is an electromechanical coating that protects parts from corrosion and cancels electrical conductivity. With this coating, the metal is given higher corrosion resistance, according to a standard of 336 hours resistance in a salt cell. This coating is designed for the electrical and electronics industries, aerospace, hi-tech, and other industries. The coating penetrates the metal by an inside to outside ratio of 65:35 respectively; thus, the final thickness of coating obtained at the end of the process must be taken into account.

We work according to the following standards:

Chromic Anodizing MIL-A-8625 TYPE 1 – coating thickness 4 microns.

Sulphuric Anodizing MIL-A-8625 TYPE 2 – coating thickness 15 microns.

Sulphuric Anodizing MIL-A-8625 TYPE 3 – coating thickness 35-80 microns

Coating services provided by the company include anodizing, Alodine®, blackening (oxide and phosphate), and passivation for stainless steel and brass – for leading companies in the metal machining and electronic packaging industries, in Israel and around the world. The company is AS9100 Certified, and serves as supplier of coatings for Rafael, Elbit and Elop, Israel’s Ministry of Defense, Orbit and HP.
